Weekly Update (Nov 5): Layout Improvements, Testing, and Dark Mode Launch!

This week, the GoldiBite team has been focused on enhancing the overall layout and performance of the app. Here's what we've accomplished:

  1. Internal Testing: Our team conducted extensive internal testing to ensure everything ran smoothly. We identified and fixed several issues related to installation, features, interactions, design, and text.

  2. Code Refinements: We’ve reviewed and optimized the app’s code to address issues found during testing. These refinements help enhance the app’s performance, making it more reliable and efficient for travellers.

  3. Feedback & Enhancements: Based on the provided feedback, we’ve made several enhancements to improve usability and make the app more intuitive. We’re also preparing for A/B testing and external testing to further optimize the home page and gather additional insights.

  4. Dark Mode Launch: We’re excited to announce the launch of Dark Mode! This new feature reduces eye strain, enhances accessibility, and extends battery life on many devices—ideal for reading ingredient lists and allergen information in low-light environments.

We’re committed to making GoldiBite the best tool for travellers with food allergies and sensitivities. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve and optimize your experience with GoldiBite!
